Catch the new twist on Tilt-a-whirl at Fantasy Island!

Located on Long Beach Island, NJ, Fantasy Island is an amusement park that’s open to the public. It offers kid-sized thrill rides, an ice cream parlor, and a massive arcade. It’s a great place for families with young children.

Fantasy Island has 17 amusement rides. The newest additions are Shark Attack and Summertime Swings. Shark Attack features a twist on the classic Tilt-A-Whirl. It allows guests to sit inside a shark and spin. Its design incorporates shark fins on the fence and LED lighting inside the ride.

Summertime Swings replaces Kiddie Swings. It features bright colors and a beach ball design. It has chairs that suspend riders and spins through ocean air.

The park’s other new attraction is a water gun game called Rising Tides. The first player to get a shot in wins. The game also features Winston the Whale, an attraction at Fantasy Island.

Fantasy Island Amusement Park has added a new twist on the classic Tilt-A-Whirl ride. The park has named the new ride Shark Attack. Shark fins replace the traditional fence on the ride and guests sit inside a Great White or Tiger shark. The ride is built by Larson International, Inc.

The Tilt-A-Whirl was first invented by Herbert Sellner in 1926. It’s a large segmented spinning platform with seven vehicles on pivot pins. It can hold 500 people an hour. Its motion is random, but it can be customized.
